Breaking new ground in the DRC

Greetings to all our friends and family!

“Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the way of the Lord.”    - Psalm. 119v1

    Please pray for:

The Horn of Africa as 700 000 children are facing death as a result of famine.

George and Erick (Hands DRC) as they prepare to go to Gomo (Eastern DRC). They will be there between 27 July and 12 August to meet local churches in helping them to care for their orphans. Pray that God will lead them to the right people and that they will have wisdom in all decisions they make to reach vulnerable children.

The end of August international volunteers will be joining Hands. We trust for all the preparations to go well and for safe travelling.

Lynn and Jayme are presently in Canada advocating the work of Hands. Pray that they will have the opportunity to speak to many who have compassion for children.

Emily (Hands SA) and Farrai (Hands Zimbabwe) will be going to Malawi to do training in Walking with Wounded Children. Pray for who are trained to be dedicated and have a heart for these hurting children.

On the 19th and 20th of August a director's meeting will be held in South Africa. Pray for unity and discernment with their decisions.

More workers are needed in the DRC. Please pray that the right workers will be found.
